Message from the Govenor
Winter is here, the temperatures are down and the holidays are upon us. We are running some raffles to raise money to upgrade the ceiling in the Hall so check for fliers to get details, Wayne Hassler won a free one year membership last month. There is also a donation jar in the front entry way, so feel free to donate there as well. We are looking to replace the ceiling grid and tiles, and re-insulate. We have had a member offer to donate new light fixtures to replace the old ones as well. Our Lodge has a membership drive going right now. We are waiving
the $20.00 enrollment fee until the end of the year, so the cost for a new L.O.O.M. member to join is only $40.00. We are having Steak Fry’s on Saturday again, thanks to Jacob’s Journey House. They are also doing Sunday breakfast and Lunch. Our next district meeting will be Saturday November 19th at Prescott Lodge at 11:00AM. I would like to encourage as many people as possible to attend. It gives you a look at what the District and Association are involved in. We will be having a Moose Legion celebration in January at our lodge on the 13th, 14th
and 15th. Anyone that is interested in joining, please talk to a Moose Legion member for details and sponsorship. The cost is $15.00 and they are waiving the enrollment fee at this time. We are gearing up for Christmas and looking for people to help out any way they can. I would like to thank the members that have been helping out already. Please pitch in when you get a chance. It takes the whole Lodge and membership to keep things working and keep our social quarters clean, enjoyable and a friendly place. We are trying to move toward emailing the newsletter instead of using standard mail. If you would like to receive your newsletter via email please let us know by sending an email to: lodge2078@mooseunits.org . Hard copies will be available in the lodge for your convenience.
